  These men seem incapable of answering very simple questions, even when asked three times, different ways..... They actually seem stupid.

  I am sure the Australian public feels relieved that they have entrusted the protection of their children to the 'superior authorities' of this Satan ruled world, rather than to the higher law of the Bible, and the leadership in God's righteous organization.

  Sad about the past

  today i feel deep sad memories in my brain.. visiting bookstudy with my parents, doing my best giving answers at 7 years old.. doing fieldservice every weekend and on an evening.. i could write so much story's about it.. we believed from our hart and listened to what the organisation told us.. it makes me sad, what a scam it became.. today i can't stand it.. i can cry about it.

  I think this Australian court exposure on the cold hearted thinking and actions of the WT, GB, "Service Desk", "Legal Desk", CO's, DO's, Elders just may be the crack that starts the waters breaking out of the dam!

  the royal commission hearing starting on monday, july 27, 2015 - australian day and date - (and it could go on until august 7th depending on how many witnesses testify) regarding jehovah's witnesses handling of child abuse is supposed to be streamed.. it could be that the hearing will only be audio not video although we were informed it will be streamed.

  we'll find out in a few hours.. i live in the central time zone of the us and right now here it is sunday, 3: 45 pm.

  in sydney, australia, it is 15 hours ahead of us.

  The elder slipped up in one part of his testimony. He said "If we have a hesitation as to what we should do........ we call the branch!

  There is the link.... 'we call the branch!"

  The Society IS involved... it has been drummed into their heads so often "Now what do you do when?" so that it automatically comes out! "Call the branch!"

  The person that presented the preliminary report was AWESOME! He had statistics of how many cases of abuse among JW since 1950, 1,000+, and how many have have been reported to police authorities: zero.

  He did a great job describing what evidence would be presented by the WT and by himself. He has shepherding book quotes, letters from the GB to prove they are involved in these child abuse cases, witnesses as to how these 'judicial meetings' (how high and mighty do they sound now Mr. T Obrien?) occur, how the women felt during them ("I had an easier time in court than I did in the congregation, in front of men, with no support")

  I guess I will have to take notes on the next part! It is pretty EXCITING to watch them squirm as the gentleman presents his case! Live streaming! They are taking a break 'for the cameramen' and shall soon return to stream more!

  for years i've been screwed with by some very bad people, people satan would kick out of his organization because even the devil might let up on evil just to allow someone to catch their breath.

  with the jwism's bad people move up while good people move down or leave the kingdom hall for good.

  i was talking with two elders who said "you know if you return to the kingdom hall, jehovah will bless you and these people will stop screwing with you.

  So sorry, Judas, it is very hard to see hypocrisy in something you've dedicated your life to, and even harder when your mate is not there to stand by your side.

  Take some time to focus on yourself, sort through things.

  It is absolutely maddening when people (no matter what religion) act as if they are "owed" everything.

  Marriage is suppose to be a partnership...... is yours? Personally, over all the years I have lived, and all the struggling I have seen, I would advise: Take a good look at your life, your plus's and your minuses.

  Have you talked with your parents? Get all the information you can (talk to a divorce attorney "How much will it cost me to divorce her? when will alimony stop? Does it matter who leaves the house? (I had a friend, left her abusive husband, moved out before the attorney, didn't get a GOOD attorney, and lost all her $$ she put into the house, boom!) "If she initiates the divorce, what will it mean for me financially?" She may be one of those people who just HOPE you will divorce her so she gets 'set for life'... Get all those questions answered. Be smart!)

  I agree, WAIT, assimilate, cool down... don't make quick decisions.

  I also agree with not wasting your life on false promises, you will regret it.

  All of us have us have been disturbed by the duplicitous words and actions of the WT & people within. Their 'magic' get out of jail free card, "Wait on Jehovah," allows them to continue in their unethical shenanigans. Why would a God of love do that? Jesus threw the money changers OUT of the temple, right?

  It is not just "in your congregation," as it was "not just in mine", but these people (like that elder Joe you mentioned) exist everywhere.... The same type of guy was in my hall... Say something nice to you, turn your back, he'd laugh and say something disparaging to the guy next to him and laugh.

  People with money were allowed more wriggle room than others, and only as I left was I able to discover what a shallow world the "Society" was. "Can I make money from this?" OK, do it... "Does it stop me from making money?" OK, stop it. What you say or write to NY is of no consequence unless it stops their $$ flow.

  Only crime and the criminal, it is true, confront us with the perplexity of radical evil; but only the hypocrite is really rotten to the core.

  How much time and money did they spend taking this flag salute issue to court?

  Total propaganda, however it is easy to see how the WT works from this one paragraph.

  1. State an event in history that they would rather people not know about (they said Armageddon would come in 1914)

  2. Misdirect their brains to a positive regarding this failed prediction and hope, and dumb it down.... "Anointed Christians knew that 1914 would mark a turning point regarding divine rulership.

  3. Then they ask questions. These "questions" are actually statements and directions for the way Jehovah's Witnesses should think.

  "Today, with so much evidence that God’s Kingdom is already established in heaven, why do the majority of people not accept what this means?

  Why are they not able to connect the dots, so to speak, between the state of the world and specific Bible prophecies that God’s people have long been publicizing? (this means that JW's are smart, they DO connect the dots, because "they believe and publicize the state of the world," and the link between "specific Bible prophecies" (If you are a JW, you can start feeling proud about how smart you are....)

  "Could it be that most people are focusing attention on just what they can see with their eyes? (2 Cor. 5:7) (Don't be like them, you would be ignorant.... focus on what you can't see with your eyes)

  Does their preoccupation with human affairs blind them to what God is doing? (Matt. 24:37-39) (Again a negative to 'worldly people', a positive if you are a JW)

  Are some of them distracted by the noise of satanic propaganda? (Just a question? or is it telling you, inferring that you would become influenced by satan if you focused on what you could see?)

  So.... distract..... obscure reality..... ask questions that would make people feel bad if they answered them in the positive.

  How Far Apart Were Your Legs?

  several threads on here about the excellent bbc r4 programme this week ('the report') focussing on rape and abuse in barry, south wales, jws.

  fat pervert mark sewell later got 14 years and i hope he is enjoying every minute of it.. the courageous ladies who spoke on the programme were articulate, reasonable and made a tremendous impression.. the quote in the thread title made an impression on me, and i hope, on all listeners.. forget religious, theological, 'biblical' issues and cut to the basics.

  a rape victim was asked to demonstrate - to demonstrate, ffs - to three unqualified (middle-aged at least, presumably) men just how far her legs were apart when she was raped.. i have rarely heard anything so outrageous, and i used to investigate rape and abuse in my profession.

  What if you were a little boy, sitting at the meeting.... you hear, "When a woman is raped, she must scream, otherwise she will die at Armageddon."..... What do you hear? blah, blah blah.... you are a boy, right? Do you know what rape is? Have you ever thought of being 'raped' cuz... well, you are a guy?

  Then, you are 'raped', learn what it means.... Uh oh.... you didn't scream.... Are you so afraid of dying at Armageddon, because you were raped, that you didn't tell anyone?
